What can we learn from Steve Jobs’ life and philosophy

Steve Jobs, honored as the modern Edison, is an inspiration to modern people. He changed our life from PC to music. While we mourn his loss, the best way to remember him is to study what we can learn from the super leader. When we review Steve Jobs’ life and philosophy, we can find lots of excellent characteristics and ideas worth learning.

“Stay hungry, stay foolish” that maybe the most famous sentence from Jobs’ speech. Jobs deeply believed in what he was doing. His passion was authentic. In a commencement speech at Stanford University in 2005, Steve shared his thought with the graduates. He told us to love what we are doing. Passion is the driver that keeps us moving forward. Enthusiasm is an essential quality to success. However, a good leader should possess more qualities.

Collaboration is the primary quality of an eligible leader. It is just the excellent teamwork between Jobs and his friend Steve Wozniak to create the mythical Apple Inc. Even through the development process of Apple Inc., there would not be so many innovative products, if only depending on the Jobs’ ability. Some other special ideas are also important to help Apple Inc. stand out in the crowd.

Focus on quality, not money. “Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful – that’s what matters to me,” said Jobs. Actually, it is just the spirit of quality-oriented that makes Apple products be popular among the world.

Although the legend has passed away, the spiritual wealth he left is eternal and worth to learn.
